I nearly did not make it to the Missouri State game. My employer has 8 tickets in a great location and I am almost always fortunate enough to score at least one of those tickets. This time my luck ran out (funny how that works when you are 30-0). There were none available. I kept telling myself I'm not spending $200+ to attend a basketball game that I could watch on TV. But I couldn't help myself. I kept being drawn to the Stub Hub site. At about 11:45 Saturday morning I told myself you can't miss this game. This is history, you will forever regret it if you don't attend. So I picked up a Row 27 single for around $220 bucks. What a frickin' bargain that turned out to be. Not only did I thoroughly enjoy the game and the atmosphere but I met some very nice Shocker fans in the process. I absolutely love Senior games although I tend to get emotional (and did again). I could not have enjoyed myself more. Thanks to the young man who had to give up his seat and letting me have it at a bargain price. Go Shocks.

Shocker fans have a sore spot for Weems because:

-He developed into a solid college player, one from Kansas who didn't wear a WSU uni.
-He seemed to have a Superman night every time he faced WSU.
-He could at times get a little pompous, but not in a way that was historically memorable or anything. Just enough to piss you off when he wasn't on your side of the ball.

That's really the source of the rub in a nutshell.

And his mom was loud & obnoxious here at Koch Arena.

I just want to point out that during the game @JJClamdip: -- who was sitting right in front of me -- was seen checking the English Premier League scores. BUSTED!!
