I wonder what the noise level was on 2/14/06 when CU was shooting their FTs and then when Matt made 'the shot'.

For higher quality, I agree with Royal. Park the bus at Bradley Fair (Redrock Canyon, On The Border, Outback, Jason's Deli, Il Vicino Wood Fired Oven Pizza, Bella Luna (Mediterranean), and YaYas Eurobistro or Newport Grill for high end dining) at all those are an easy walk. Not quite as many choices out at the Waterfront, but still good ones - PF Chang's, Abuelo's, Fox and Hound, Bonefish Grill, Doc Green's, Red Robin. I don't know if on one day Scotch and Sirloin could be prepped for a group of 95, but they have big company dinners there all the time.Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind. ~Dr. Seuss

Quietest Moments: Pickens and Jacobsen. Bastards!
Another loud moment has to be Cooz's block on Patrick O'Bryant at the home game against Bradley in 06.

In Turgeon's last year here against Creighton, late in the game, Nate Funk was fouled by PJ on a 3 (bogus call...imagine that) and went to the line for 3 free throws with WSU only up like 4 or so. Being a 90% free throw shooter, the crowd certainly raised the volume to distract him, but it was almost like a hint of "We'll be loud but it won't matter because he'll make these." He missed his first free throw, and Koch went nuts. The noise levels for those second and third free throws were ridiculous. Funk did make his second free throw but missed his third free throw as well. Oh, and then later in the final second, PJ swatted a Funk potential game-tying three-pointer essentially at the buzzer to preserve the victory. That didn't suck.
But yeah, watching Matt's shot...and then watching our students give Creighton hell as they exited the court...was enjoyable...especially since sCUm students had been so smug in Omaha as to hold up a sign about "Wichita State: Official Sponsors of the NIT." As it turned out, sCUm would don the NIT colors that year. Karma is not a male dog!78-65

That's absolutely correct. I had forgotten about that. Dana (and Creighton fans too, for that matter) acted like total dictators minus the tator.78-65

Another thing, how could our own fans be slower on the draw then opposing teams fans?
