Anybody complaining about tickets being sold for too much needs to stop their whining... A special hell for people who sell tickets? Seriously? Have you ever looked at Stubhub and seen what tickets sell for schools where tickets have been in high demand for years??? Sure I'm used to the bad times when I couldn't give away my season tickets, but this year you can damn well expect if I don't have a friend or family member to bring I'm squeezing every cent out of my 4 tickets as I can. I pay plenty to SASO and the athletic office for those tickets. If the market demands they sell for $200 each, so be it. I had 4 extras for the Tennessee St. (not Tennessee) game put them on Stubhub for $80 each and they were gone in less than 10 minutes. I walked away from the Final 4 last year with a small fortune. We won't even mention the IBA game. Some of you guys really need to get with the times.

The rub here is STUDENT tickets being sold on the black market, not GA, nor a lone season ticket. A student has no right to allow the market to determine highest and best price when they are essentially re-selling free tickets and preventing otherwise willing students from attending. That's not a free market in action; that's gaming the system.

Thank you for understanding the point.

Yep. Student fees are paying for free seats in Koch (basically) and people are stealing them to turn a profit.

Honestly, I think it's pretty cool that tickets are in such high demand. I have a student ticket available because I will unfortunately be unable to attend the March 1 game. I informed a friend of mine in the marketing department and she told me to sell it for $75 because that seems to be roughly the going rate. Honestly, I just want the seat to be filled; but I wouldn't turn down somebody that was willing to pay. So as it stands now, there is one ticket that doesn't equate to a butt in seat. Perfectly willing to give it away for free, but also wouldn't turn down an offer like that.

There is a difference between what you are doing and the people who buy 4 guest tickets for the sole purpose of scalping.

Either give it to another student for free, or turn it back into the AD and allow THEM to re-capture the revenue (as GA overflow), or give it to another student (as intended function).

I understand that aspect completely. If WSU doesn't want Students being able to sell the tickets there should be safe guards to stop that...See just about every Big 12 school with a high demand for student tickets, (which really is just OSU and KU...maybe ISU). Here's the deal. If the system in place allows tickets to be sold legally, then students who stand in line for hours to get them can do what they want with them. I'll be completely honest if WSU let me get an extra ticket and all my friends got their tickets so basically I don't have anyone to give it to, I'd sell it. Poor college kids need money.

I agree with you. I have friends that are checking to make sure they can make it to the game and if they can I will give it to them for free. The idea is simply making sure that every seat is filled. By no means am I searching for a quick buck. I've had people offer to pay me for it but am holding out because I still don't feel 100% comfortable with it; and since I didn't pay for the ticket, I don't feel they should HAVE to pay for it. I apologize if I came off like a scalper by wording my previous post the wrong way. Not at all my intentions.

Another thing to think about is that I'm pretty sure they instituted a policy where if you have a student ticket, you have to have a Student ID on you. I'm not saying they won't borrow one, but there could be unassuming people out there that pay the money for one and won't be able to get in.

Yes, but most of these are guest tickets, purchased for $15/$25, which do not require an ID
