I think this game will be similar to the game yesterday. UNI will bring everything they have and probably have a good gameplan to try and slow us down. The difference is that I don't think we'll go two games in a row getting outrebounded and outworked for 50/50 balls, and I don't think Baker or Van Vleet will have another bad game. As we've grown used to this season, UNI will try to jump out of the gate and may even have a lead in the first half, but eventually they will grow tired and the adrenaline will fade.

      Thanks!

        Comparative Stats from StatSheet

        Entire Season stats

Anyone know what the Shocks travel plans are. Did they return to Wichita today only to fly to Cedar Falls/Waterloo on Friday or are they going directly from Terre Haute to Cedar Falls. The latter makes more sense to me but WDIK.

The players were on campus today, so the former. I would agree the latter makes more sense, but I don't think they want the players missing class when possible.

Thanks. So they will probably fly up to Cedar Falls tomorrow after classes and after practice. I imagine the guys are a little tired today. That will work just fine as long as all goes according to plan. Should be able to get a good night's sleep at home tonight and in Cedar Falls on Friday night with plenty of time for a shoot around and walk-thru on Saturday.

They almost always fly home immediately after games, so I imagine they were home shortly after midnight last night. If they hold to usual pattern, they won't leave until 5 or 6 tomorrow at the earliest.

They left the Sycamore arena around 11:00 so the probably got back to Mid-Continent around 1:00AM, to Koch Arena around 1:30AM and to bed around 2:00AM.

Perhaps a few players were able to snooze in flight but my guess is adrenaline levels may have been too high for that. Hard to say. This group of guys doesn't seem to be too overly impressed with themselves.

Cleanthony continues to put up big numbers in Valley road games, although last night he was pretty much MIA in the 1st half. Time for Cle to start putting together complete games both on the road and at home. He is a force to reckon with when he gets it going.

Playing the HI-LO game, I absolutely know we have not played our HI game (perfection). But I am not sure we have played our LO game (complete suckiness). Road games usually cause a LO game. Missourah State was close to the LO game but we came back and won. Last night, we certainly nailed suckiness but fortunately were inconsistent in that regard. Is this the proverbial "trap" game that we all should have seen coming in 20-20 hindsight? Due to the UNI injury situation, I think not therefore I am saying we win this game.

Shocker will win by 12. I'd like to to be bigger since I will be watching it with a UNI alum in a Crieghton bar (tiger toms) in Omaha.

The last time I had to watch us play UNI with a UNI fan, they won and they made such a ruckus that I left Koch wanting to see him and his family mowed down by a car in the parking lot.
