Don't let some of the BS spewed by a few slapdicks on their board ruin all the drink in the punch bowl.

As mentioned, I've met several ISU supporters in STL & B-N & had nothing but good times.
Heck, they even covered my tab after the game in 2012 (and trust me when I say I got my fill).

Like I said....I don't get it. But this is why I don't post on boards or follow sports much anymore. People scare me on these boards. I can't care about this stuff to that degree.

Ventured over the the Redbird site last night and for the most part there was very little hate but many actually said they liked the way our team played and would like to see the Redbirds be more like them in the future. Several gave credit to Marshall for being a good coach and ran a disciplined team. Always interesting to see how a fan base handles a loss expecially when you lead for a half. As I said except for a couple I saw nothing like I expected.

As I mentioned in the game thread, I saw about 10 signs last night in the student section...5 to 6 were bashing HCGM or coaching staff in general, 1 saying FVV loves "The Notebook ", 2 face pics ( Cookie Monster and some dude) and only 1 FOR their team ("fear the fro").

I'm so sick of Fever's chest thumping and making our board and fans look like a bunch of a$$ hats. Do us all a favor and either change your tone or go away. Your act is tired and embarrassing. There are others who are about as bad but Fever is definitely the ring leader.

There were a lot more faces than that. There was Doug Collins, Brock Spack (football coach), Reggie Lynch, Dan Muller, and the previous ISU president Bowman. Most signs were tame.

The dumbest was Gregg Marshall wears yoga pants. Stupid but mildly amusing the first second you see it.
