With Lynch being a foul machine, that will really make them small and/or inexperienced at the 4/5 for backups.

        • 3 games in row is almost reaching cult status. The folks in Bristol are paying attention (finally).

What hasn't been mentioned though is he was about introduce the Ramblers to Posterville Part Deux in the 2nd half. Someone for Loyola stepped in and bear hugged him to prevent a double dose of #SCTop10.

Didnt get a good look on TV, but someone said on FB that should definitely been an intentional foul.

Anyone else thoughts? Did he play the ball at all? Cotton got hammered also in the game an took a hard fall.

Want to see us show these guys what THEY only saw a glimpse of last night.

            • The foul hat prevented the dunk was a good, hard foul. I would not have called it intentional.

I'd probably agree with this, but he sure didn't make much of a play on the ball. Now the late foul, especially given that Tekele ended up banging his head, was inexcusable imho. That should have been F1.

                • I was impressed with Loyola's dirtiness. Great replacement for Creighton.

Let's hope we have em down by 40 next time we see em on Chicago, as we should.

I gotta agree. You can't blame a guy for not wanting to be Victim #2.

If Tekele is going to make a career of this, he's got to hit the free throws though, because the better you are at getting to the rack, the more desperate people will be to stop you.

                    • It looks like Cedric Coleman and Tom Kosich are the only two Shockers that had an opportunity to play in 3 NCAA tournaments (1984/85, 1986/87, and 1987/88 seasons). However, I don't see Coleman or Kosich on the box score for the 86/87 match. Either the box score is incomplete, or there weren't mop up minutes to give to Kosich because it was a very close game, or maybe they were both injured -- I don't know. But they both played 1 or more minutes in 84/85 and 87/88.

So .... if Tekele stays healthy, he will be the only Shocker to play in 3 NCAA tournaments at the end of this year. But not the only Shocker to have gone to 3 NCAA tournaments.

That was quite funny. The whole arena gasped and then sighed with the foul.

                          Wasn't '87 a buzzer beater loss to St. John's?

The box score shows it was a very tight game, so I am assuming you are correct:

                              • Jason King calls Tekele's dunk the dunk of the year so far.

A: Tekele Cotton’s dunk - Even though it happened a week ago, Cotton’s one-handed slam in Wichita State’s victory over Illinois State deserves way more attention than it’s received. I actually think it’s the dunk of the season thus far. Take a look and see if you agree.

Let’s be honest. Kansas’ Andrew Wiggins and Kentucky’s Julius Randle are turning pro after the season. Oklahoma State’s Marcus Smart has all but said he is, too...
