Hell -- we could troll Mo St as well.
The best team from Kansas already beat the best team from Missouri. 70-65 on December 1st.

As a shout out to my childhood, a series with Nebraska, which I believe WILL be the best team in that state after this year. Miles is a bright young coach.

Maybe 2 for 1 with the Huskers.

Missouri, at the Sprint would be fine, Louisville, Ohio State, Michigan , Michigan State, Memphis, Colorado, UNLV, Arizona, Creighton, San Deigo State, Gonzaga, Cincinnati, UConn and Purdue (since we are talking to them), and Oklahoma State but I have my doubts if a quality Big 12 team would schedule us other than K-State.

I'm not picky. Add two of these, three if one is Creighton and I'm happy. Or, get us in the AAC.

Wow! I had no idea we were in discussions with this many top programs. A schedule with teams like this, would look very attractive to conferences lik MWC and AAC.

I just have this strange feeling, that we will get invited to a new conference. I don't know why, but it is the same feeling I had before last years tourney (and that turned out pretty well).

I believe the, "since we are talking to them" may be referring to just Purdue since coach hinted towards that on the radio show on Monday.

I tend to share SHURTZtheHERTZ instinct. It just feels like we will be getting an invite from the AAC or Mountain West. I sure hope the Wichita St. brass are making a pitch to those conferences and NOT just waiting on the invite.

American Athletic - Cincinnati or Memphis

Atlantic 10 - St Louis and add Massachusetts

Big East - Creighton or Villanova

Big Twelve Team - Iowa State, Oklahoma State or Oklahoma

SEC Team - Arkansas, Missouri or Texas A&M

I would love to see us schedule SDSU, New Mexico from the Mountain West.
Like the thinking here. I'd really like to see us get back to playing Creighton again. Other than that, Ok State and Colorado would be good as well and would cover the border states other than the one to the East. The Missouri game is enticing but I'd like to see Pitt or Gonzaga, former tourney foes. As much as I'd really like to see an H/H with Syracuse, Boeheim learned his lesson a few years ago when the Shox squeezed the Orange in the Dome. That was sweet but Boeheim doesn't schedule tough road games and I'm pretty sure he'd prefer to stay out of CKA and IBA.

I'm sorry, I just don't see either of those conferences inviting Wichita State as long as we don't have a football program. Until WSU re-constitutes its football program (and I'm not advocating it) that's probably the one thing that keeps us from joining many of the top conferences.

MWC has 12 football members, but only 11 for all other sports. Not out of the question to speculate they will add someone to even that out. WSU would be an almost perfect fit.

Louisville, Duke, Kentucky, Cincy, Ohio State, Michigan State and for selfish reasons, any school in Florida.

The MWC tournament is at the Thomas and Mack Center in LV. The PAC-12 is at the MGM Grand. You don't even have to leave the Hotel for the games.

Not a H/H but a four team Border State War (or what ever you want to call it) in KC. Mizzou plays St Louis. Then Wichita plays Kstate. The following day the losers play then the winners for a big traveling trophy. It might upset most and Kwo but we don't care.
