Any game in south Texas would be great.

I know we focus on in state schools but both ou and OSU are pretty freaking close.

Home and homes or even okc/iba would make sense.

      Same with tcu.

Keeping it quasi-realistic, I would want Missouri, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, or Texas. Those are teams in this region who people obviously know about and have name recognition. I would love some solid programs like San Diego State, VCU, UNLV...teams like that, but I am not sure those are marquee names to create buzz. I am not being flippant or conceited either. Those names create buzz to all of us, but we are locked in regardless. Some of the bandwagoners wouldn't be as in tune with that. Point in case: UNLV came in here a couple years ago, ranked after beating North Carolina. The game didn't sell out. The atmosphere was still really, really good, and our guys lit up UNLV like a Christmas tree...but it didn't seem there was quite the buzz going into that game that there should have been.

Those teams I initially listed are marquee names (even if the programs aren't always good) that would bring lots of emotion and buzz. Also, the road game would be relatively easy for our fans to attend (Austin being a stretch).

Memphis and VCU are at the top of my list. Consistent, at-large quality teams who I think we have a good chance to sweep in a H/H.

Because they're close by: OU, OSU, Colorado, Mizzu, Creighton, Texas
Just because: Gonzaga, Oregon, Wisconsin, Iowa, Pittsburgh, UCONN, Indiana, San Diego St.
Probably won't happen but would love to see: Arizona, UCLA, Kentucky, Louisville, UNC, Duke, Ohio St., Syracuse
If you're not going to go all the way, why go?

San Diego State because a) they are a consistently good team b) have a great fan base and c) I live in San Diego and would get to see the Shox.

As someone else mentioned, I'd love to play Missouri. Rather than H/H, I'd be fine with Sprint Center. The chickenhawk trophy is a nice idea, but I'd say omit the idea of KU completely and have a traveling trophy somehow involving the 2 states.

We could call it the "Border Showdown" or "Border War" or the "Marquee Border Challenge"
We could also start a same year H&H with the AAC west Division and a regular H&H with the East Division too.

                          Also-
                          OkSU
                          Michigan State
                          UCLA
                          Louisville
                          Arizona
                          New Mexico

any perceived "blue blood": duke, ucla, north carolina, kentucky, louisville, indiana

michigan state, villanova, boston college, michigan, wake forest, nc state or st john's would also work nicely.

Louisville, Baylor, Florida, New Mexico, Mizzou, and Creighton (The last 2 would also work well for games at Sprint Center)

Well selected to start this discussion - I favor targeting five conferences (as I think we can establish contracts with one or more of these schools):

American Athletic - Cincinnati or Memphis

Atlantic 10 - St Louis and add Massachusetts

Big East - Creighton or Villanova

Big Twelve Team - Iowa State, Oklahoma State or Oklahoma

SEC Team - Arkansas, Missouri or Texas A&M

I would love to see us schedule SDSU, New Mexico from the Mountain West.
