If both teams were shooting typical 3PT percentages, the game would essentially be tied. Take way 3 3's for MSU, add 3 3's for WSU - tie ball game.

MSU WILL cool off, but 18 points is a hell of a deficit.

The first half showed why it is impossible to go undefeated. A lot of bad or mediocre teams rely on luck and threes, and eventually they shoot well on a night where the better team shoots badly. The entire Valley is going to put up 20 to 30 shots just to try and get that one win.

Honestly, who cares. Rankings mean nothing. It's all about March performances.

We had 3 assists, shot 36%, while allowing them to shoot 7-11 from the inside. We also stopped doing what was working early and haven't gotten it back. I'll give MSU credit for their 3 point shooting.

So do I. They played an amazing half, way above their head. Hats off to them. We certainly contributed by failing to play defense, but that's what happens on the road.
