At least Weber isn't being a total v like someone else in the state. If we get a game are we allowed to call it the Sunflower Showdown?
Agreed. At least Weber is entertaining the idea, but man what a puss with the Rodriguez thing. No doubt WSU would be heavy favorites in the game

    ... No really, deuces.

I guess I'm a little confused. Why do Kansas schools want to play in Missouri at the Sprint Center? I'm thinking the best series for either K-State or Ku and us would be a home and away with our home being Intrust.

If they divided the tickets in half and the WSU Athletic Dept. gave first chance to season ticket holders, it would be an even draw.

It is kinda weird how much KSU and especially KU help out the Missouri economy. Really strange.

I look forward to Veritas' opinion on this matter.

Maybe we should play one in ST. Louis and or one in Dallas in a couple of months.

Weber wants to play once a year at the Sprint (probably for recruiting and to get close to their fan base in KC). This kills two birds with one stone.

I had really hoped this series would materialize. Part of me enjoys being anti-ku but I actually like Bruce Weber and would like to at least pull for K-State. Intrust and Sprint would be great and a guaranteed sellout at both locations. Bring on the Cats!

I agree, but my interpretation of Weber's remarks is that that is not what he would agree to.

Play an outdoor game at the Sporting KC park. Its in Kansas and, quite frankly, would be awesome.

Yes. And I would lobby for legalized sports betting at the Hollywood casino.

I wonder if they could string a tarp over the roof and put a heating system at court level.

Those guys have plenty of money to upgrade.
