I was hoping for the blowout but we got #14. Time to focus on UNI.

Van Vleet moves his Assist/Turnover ratio to an insane 4.11/1. Hell, his STEAL/TO rate is 1.56/1.
Combined, Van Vleet, Baker and Cotton: 2.94 A/TO and 1.23 STEAL/TO rates. So good, it's scary.
Right now, Van Vleet is the best PG in the league and it's not close at all.
Against mostly similar competition, Fred scores more, has more assists, turns the ball over less, has a better FG%, 3FG% and FT% than Aaron Craft. Aaron has a SLIGHT edge in steals (30-28) rebounds (49-45) but he plays about 2 minutes more per game as well. Craft will get national commentary all season as one of if not the best PG in the country.
It's very possible the best PG in the country is right here.

Barry looked absolutely shell-shocked the entire game and who can blame him. Just goes to show how classy 3G is. He's not just a fantastic coach, he's a damn good person to boot. I can't argue with 14-0.

Double digit blowout
RR Shock, I'm pretty sure WSU blew out Creighton on their home floor in front of a record crowd of around 18,000 by over 20 pts about 2 years ago. the score can probably be found on Go Shockers under basketball & then click on stats.

Delivered with mock concern by my 14 year old son, a dyed in the wool Shocker fan, learning a little tongue in cheek while following Wichita State’s win at Southern Illinois last night....
....Then there’s Fred Van Vleet with a second straight game without a turnover. In fact, over his last three games the sophomore has 18 assists against just one turnover, oh and he’s averaging over 13 points during that stretch. One game into the conference season and, barring injury, there’s no doubt who the Valley’s top point guard is— feel free to post that in Terre Haute, Indiana.Kansas is Flat. The Earth is Not!!
