Shockers did hold them scoreless for 5:21 in the 2nd half, that was where WSU should have buried them. Unfortunately WSU only went on a 4-0 run during that 5 minutes. In the first half, Shox held them scoreless for ~ 3 minutes and went on 12-0 run.

I was just thinking that. We probably won't see the shox blow many teams out this year. We have the ability to go on big runs when needed and take the foot off the gas when needed.

siu played really well, though, just like they did last year in carbondale.

Odum is a great PG, but he does drive to the baseline with nothing planned if the drive doesn't get him to the hoop. Fred hasn't shown that problem, and driving into the area of the trees is a big problem for many PG's. FVV drives in there a lot, but he has very few TO's from driving.

Fred driving the lane is a little like getting the ball to Miller on the block in 2006. You can expect 2 points to go on the board. May not always happen, but it's the likely outcome.
