Maybe if we get out far enough Baker can rest his ankle. He tweeked it this last game and it's never going to heal completely unless he stays off of it. You need him out on the floor because he is so good at everything he does (and he does everything), but I'm pretty sure Coach and staff would like to rest him so he can be 100% down the stretch when we need him most.

I'm predicting a 62-56 game. This will be because
SIU will be gunning for us. At least that was what I was told was the issue when I suggested they were not playing with the same intensity as I saw them play with when they blasted Creighton by 40 or so a couple of years ago, or when they were winning valley road games by 30 or so last year......

Are there any bars that hook up their internet to the TV and stream it? I don't think Fox & Hound did it for the Indy State game that was ESPN3 only last year.

The ugly dog board is not predicting a pretty game. One even thinks that Marshall will be merciful and keep it under 20.

I had a bone bruise once and they are no fun at all.

I'd been posting these before games on Twitter, figured I could throw them in the pregame threads here too.

I was surprised to see the Salukis' 2 point make percentage as 63%.

The Shockers percentage is around 50%.

These 3 guys provide 65% of SIU's scoring.

If there is a game were our bigs have a chance to shine this may be it.

                            Go Shocks!
Jackson is a tough player. Very tough.

Where are you getting that 63% figure?

On the season, SIU is 332 out of 702 on all fg attempts. If you subtract their 48 of 167 on threes, you get 284 out of 535 on two pointers which is .530.

On the season, WSU is .516 from 2 point range.

Shockers open as 13 point favorites.
