First let me apologize on behalf of the sycamores as they havent stepped up completely as they need to help you guys from saving the MVC. The good: Their winning games they should all except Belmont and the Tulsa game we shouldnt have loss. The bad: We are playing ugly regardless of how much we win by but yet we shoot the ball well (puzzling) Anyway the point of this thread is we all know how no one ever goes undefeated in college bball. So with that said if Wichita st is to lose 1-4 games who would you think? You guys for sure will beat the bottom 5 twice. UNI possible split. Mo st possible split but I think you guys will beat them twice. Drake I think they get brought down a notch in conference play so you guys SHOULD beat them twice. Ind st is like a billion ??? Ind st has the talent and when they show up they show up and dominate (just like last year when we beat you guys @wsu:) but you just never know which Ind st team is gonna show up. We usually play WSU pretty good for most of the game. It could go a few ways, you guys could sweep us, we could sweep you, or we could split. I honestly couldnt tell you but I think the least out of the 3 is that we sweep you guys but I wouldnt rule it out either. Side note : All Illinois schools are killing the MVC. Can we trade them and first round draft pick from the Pacers and get 4 other schools? lol My vote: St Louis, Belmont, and 2 other schools that you guys wouldnt mind joining.

I don't want to automatically put down the abilities of the teams remaining on our schedule, but I think our wins/losses is heavily dependent on us. When we're playing well we can beat anyone in the country, when we're not playing well we struggle with teams like Tennessee State and William & Mary. One of these times our first half troubles will carry over to the second half and I just hope we're able to gut out a win.

The ability to go undefeated at this point is not dependent on our opponents coming to play, it's dependent on mental fortitude of this Shocker team. No slips like last year going up against Evansville. There are still a majority of guys on this team that were there for that last year, and I think missing out on a regular season championship by one game, chapped some asses, and they're looking for vengeance.

First let say that is a player or two of ours gets injured during the season, that could play a big part of whether we get beat or not. Again, first half woes could catch up with us too. If we drop a game or two or so, I see it being to Northern Iowa or Missouri State, and Evansville always seems to give us trouble with their defense. But, I think this team is determined to keep winning, and they will be okay until that first loss comes along, then we will have to see how they regroup and play from there.

I'm betting on 16-2 or 15-3 in conference. I figure a loss at ISUb and either MSU, Drake, or UNI. I don't see any match-up problems in the schedule currently, so we will just keep playing and hopefully keep winning. Davidson just got their best guard back and will be as tough as anyone we face before the post season.Livin the dream

16-2 in league play is what I'm going with.
Hopefully the teams they lose to are the better teams and not the bottom feeders. So a couple losses on the road at MSU, UNI, Drake or ISUb would be my guess.
What will probably happen is at home to Loyola and on the road at e-ville or something pathetic along those lines.

This team is better than that team and the MVC is a whole lot weaker. So . . .
