Remember, at the elite level douchiness is an exponential. So that Louisville fans know who WSU is, already makes them fairly low on the dbag scale compared with, say, Kentucky.

Which is why I like Louisville, despite their alleged attitude. They did earn it the hard way. Don't tell me we wouldn't be the same way..

Now hold on. Duke was good in the 60s like WSU and Loyola, but did not go to the NCAA tourney between 66 and 78, when they went to the finals. In 79/80 they hired K. He has 11 Final 4s compared to 4 ever before and all four titles. Had they hired, say Eddie Fogler or similar, they would not be a Blue Blood IMO. Perhaps the Loyola comparison was bad, but I know they were good at the same time. Maybe S. Carolina or Wake Forest is more what Duke would be if they hadn't hired K.

They are all probably still pissed about us beating them on their home court in our last regular season matchup way back in 1975-76...

give it up. so four final fours before k means nothing? gtfoh, google sleuth. duke doesn't start with k and they won't end with k.

I've thought about this before and the list is pretty good, however, Indiana gets too much run, IMO. They get too much credit for being affiliated with being the Hoosier State, the movie Hoosiers, Larry Bird, etc. they had some good teams under Bobby Knight (one really good team with isaiah thomas), but by and large have been mediocre for quite a while. Also, and i know i'll take some heat for this, but UCLA needs to do something on a national level at some point and quit living off the greatness of the 60's and 70's. John Wooden, one of the greatest ever, but it was a long time ago. Great programs sustain greatness over several decades and spanning many different coaches (kentucky, north carolina, kansas, etc.). Duke has history but has always been second fiddle to UNC, so I have to move them down the list in terms of douchiness.

honestly, i believe that marshall could win a national championship at wichita state. 'might take some more years, but..

The class we have coming in next year is supposed to be his best recruiting class of his career. He's building something really special here.

Missouri State fans will tell you that they should be included in this conversation (yes, they count their non D1 history)

all tough and talent coming in.

all kinda reminds me of louisville jump-starting their run to a national championship in '80 with a final four run in '75 (no google search).
