    • The way I see it, the T on McRae was just a makeup call for the T on Malcolm last year. I don't feel bad for them at all.

      • Bigs:

        Points - 21
        FG - 8-12
        FT - 5-7
        RB - 15
        Blocks - 2
        TO - 2

Darius' curve is pointing up for the last several games. He looks increasingly confident.

Even though he had a non-pressure turnover, he takes good care of the ball.

He is careful about avoidance of foul calls.

        He just plays smart.

Kadeem (12 minutes) and C.J. (12 minutes) only had one rebound collectively. Hard to believe.

Wiggy has got to get it going. Got to. He is playing better defense.

Tekele threw more daggers today than a circus side show impalement artist. Damn, he hit some big time shots.

        • Hopefully, we witnessed the Darius Carter coming out party today.

Tekele Cotton is perhaps the most underrated and under-appreciated player in the country. There are a lot of glue guys, but I don't know how many super-glue guys there are but Tekele is among them.

Nice use of the zone by HCGM in the second half.

Evan looked more confident with his shot during warm-ups. Now if he can just knock a couple down in a game maybe he will be on his way back.

Cle has been just OK this season, and for the most part today not even that. But now that he may have Darius nipping at his heels and pushing him I expect Cle to respond in a positive fashion. He's just too good of young man and too good of a talent not to. Plus that's just what Shockers do. And Cle is a Shocker.

Congrats to HCGM, his staff and the team on the record 10-0. What's nice, however, is that we are still a work-in-process and I don't think we have yet seen the best that this team has to offer.

According to the box score, there was one on Carl also. They owe us another one.

Which one was the guy who was deep on the sideline making all the fouls on WSU under the basket? Two guys with good view make no call, and here comes a foul call out of nowhere, looking through 5 or 6 bodies.

Short, Hispanic looking dude with a goatee? About 35 y/o or so?

My barber is a KU dropout, alky anon candidate, and has a severe case of little man complex. He's told me stories of his sh!t-talking conquests in Old Town before. Always like to put me in my place as a WSU-er when he's cutting my hair. I try to be nice and not rain down a reality check on his arse - both with respect to education/career, and sports.

I wouldn't be surprised if a few posters here know this guy, due to the nature of his work.

You need to find a new barber...straight edge and scissors and needing anger management don't mix.
