This was a GRINDER game, Exactly the kind of game that wins championships. To say anything different is not giving credit where credit is due. Some individual players (CLE and Fred) did not have good games, but winning teams find ways to win, and win we did.

Fred had 5 assists and 2 turnovers- not a good scoring game, but I thought he was solid.

Exactly. Tennessee is a GOOD team. How many times did it seem we were ready to make a run, then they would drill a huge trey from downtown. Also, they have boys up front. We had, what 6 or 7 offensive rebounds? There was none of that going on at either end.

This is a very good Tennessee team. I hope we can hang on here, because this could be one of those wins that looks really good at the end of the year.

they look like an ncaa tournament lock team to me, yet vol-nation is really grumbling now.

i'll say this though.. we get them in koch arena, we win by 15.

Trouble with inbounds plays and physicality. With Fred,bad is relative. Anything less than awesome looks bad, even when it is solid.

You took my quote out of context. The OP said our first half wasn't too bad. I merely said it wasn't too great either. This was a great FINISH to a game that didn't start too great. We can agree on that.

Dunno about Ya'll, but I was as happy as a lark when Ron "King Of Pain" Baker was out there. Think about how much we missed him for 21 games last Season only to help us to the Final 4.
