Please check your numbers for game 9. We won by 13.

I believe you're off 2 points in game 8 as well.

Regarding the fast start of our opponents this year, I think HCGM is successfully employing the "Muhammad Ali Rope A Dope" theory to basketball.

        Corrected above. Thanks.

This. Kind of like the 30 something ex high school jock that starts out on a 5k run like a Kenyan Marathoner just because he is caught up in the moment. After a quarter mile he is back to running 9 or 10 minute miles with the rest of us.

            Sound familiar"

Gonzaga has been mostly guard driven and a force offensively the first month of the season, but the Bulldogs supplemented that formula Saturday with Sam Dower Jr., Gerard Coleman, rebounding and tenacious defense.

Maybe the basket is smaller at the north end.

Back in the 80's - I heard a rumor that Dick Versace (Bradley's HC) had the rims set tighter at the opponent's end and adjusted them at the half. I have no idea if that had one shred of truth to it but it gave me another reason to hate that fuzzy headed weasel.

I think that this has been discussed with volleyball as well and the possible theory is that airflow from the north tunnel is a potential issue that makes the ball fly differently on the two ends. Seems more plausible with the lighter volleyball, but there might be something to it for both.

It must something relatively new then. Seems like many losses on last second shots have taken place at that end:
George Mason, VCU, Nortern Iowa in past years. Although Creighton failed last year.
