Interesting stat for Baker.

In his college career, he's 25-3.

His losses: 1) on the road to Tennessee last year; 2) To a CU team ranked around #15 in the game in St. Louis; 3) NC Louisville.

He's got some nice W's: #1 in the polls Gonzaga, Ohio State, Pitt, Tennessee

Somehow, I don't think even a superstar, like Andrwe Wiggins, is going to be able to match that start in D1 basketball.

I ran across this quote from Ron Baker on his commitment to WSU "In settling on the offer from WSU, Baker adds that he reflected on something his dad told him. He said that whatever decision I make comes down to what I'd like to tell my grandkids someday. I am hoping this gives me a lot to tell them."

Kind of an interesting comment. Seems to me after just a little over a year of actual gams, he has a great start on some stories for the grand kids. I am all for even bigger and better stories to come.

Give it a rest will you please. Everyone who follows basketball KNOWS about this. It's getting very old. If there was something we could accomplish by complaining, then I say go for it. But there isn't. The arguments have been made on both sides of the matter ad nauseam. This isn't a personal attack on you Yeti, it's just a request that everyone put that subject to rest, at least for awhile, and just enjoy what this team has accomplished so far and what they may still accomplish.

Why should I? Just because Lord Fever says so. I have news for you -- even though you try to bully your opinion onto anyone who disagrees with you, I have a right to my own. What good does it do to piss and moan and groan about something that even you (as important as you think you are) can't do anything about. If you want to devote a thread to the subject, be my guest but why not wait until more important things (like this season) are over. I can avoid that thread just like I do many others.
