One more, then I'll give it a rest. I've been having a little fun with it.

To the gentleman who oh-so-kindly stated "even though this is only something like your 10th appearance ever in the NCAAs, the WuDrWu contingent of your fan base comically thinks WSU is a power" -

For argument's sake, let's agree that WSU isn't a power. But we're dang sure trending that way, and have already done far more on a national stage than Creighton ever has in my lifetime. And yes, this will only be our 11th NCAA appearance, in contrast to Creighton's whopping 19th berth. But out of those previous 10 berths are 5 Sweet 16's and 4 Elite Eights. And those wouldn't happen to be 2 Final Four banners I see hanging in the rafters, would they? I'd say that's a pretty nice batting average. As for CU's previous 18 berths? Three Sweet 16's, with the last one being 40 years ago.

For the time being, that's more than enough said.

I love that Creighton fans think that saying we've been to 10 NCAA tournaments is an insult. Congratulations to them on making the NCAA tournament 18 times ... am I miscounting, though, because I know WE have 12 tournament wins, but I can only find 11 wins for them. Is it possible to go to the NCAA tournament 18 times and only have 11 wins? I must be missing a Sweet 16 run of theirs somewhere.

SI covers don't happen in the Valley.

Yep, still delusional.

In Omaha you get an SI cover cause you have one player (who is only still at the school cause CU is paying his dad big money) who works as hard as he can to pad his personal stats and gets compared to Larry Bird cause they're white guys from small-name schools who score a ton of points.

In the Valley you get SI covers cause you either are heading to the Sweet 16 (WSU 2006), made it to the Final 4 for the 2nd time in your school's history (WSU 2013), or you have an undefeated regular season coming off of a Final 4 with a team that at the time was in the process of locking up a #1 seed with a starting lineup that is young enough to grow even stronger in the next few years (WSU 2014).

So yeah, if any Creighton fans would like to discuss who is big time and who is small time feel free...

Good old Ljay. He's been spouting his ignorance for years. He also has terrible anger issues and really should have sought help many, many years ago. If it was an isolated incident I could sympathize with him and other blowjay fans. It must sting knowing your "run" is over....DePaul is your new rival and your coach is in DEEP "at this level" without his son. I'd be mad too.

He said 3rd in the MVC huh? I have another post from Fever where he said middle of the MVC. I was waiting for him to answer my question before linking to it. Either way, sounds like NIT to me, yet he lies about it all the time.

Anyway, out of respect to others on this board, I'll consider this over. Fever is a liar and I should probably just ignore him forever, but I'll at least make this promise... Until the Shox next lose a game, I will not respond to Fever in any way shape or form. Can't wait for the selection show today and for the upcoming games ahead.
