I have zero respect for Creighton b/c they have zero respect for the game. Flopping and cheapshotting everywhere. They don't just go for loose balls...they try to injure guys. Such classless punks.

Only JH4P could turn an enjoyable Creighton-bashing session into a display of self-lubing by way of a remark made about Providence 2 months ago. I'm sure he predicted the Friars were a sure-fire NCAA squad and Big East Tournament Champion at the time too.

I'll copy this over here, just because 'why not?'. And I want to see the rebuttals start flying.

After I work out all my angst, the things that will make me feel better are:

-We massively jumped up in competition level and didn't miss a beat. We were in the discussion for BIG FRICKIN EAST champs in the final 2 weeks of the season
-We just got done playing in the tournament title game in Madison Square Garden
- We've had more big regular season wins than probably any time in the last decade or longer
- We have the POY
- We have received more publicity and positive national attention than ever before
- We still have an NCAA tournament to play in, and we'll receive our highest seed in school history. We still have opportunities to show the country what Creighton Basketball is all about. Like Doug said, the best is still yet to come!

As far as that 2nd one. Good job playing in a title game in MSG. How did that win feel, and where will your piece of net be displayed?

I'm pretty sure the Friars were up six when that happened. But it's still just a two possession lead and anything but safe. Of course you try to score when you have an open lane to the basket. Apparently Creighton fans are still learning about this game called basketball.
