Do we just have one game left with Tulsa? At their place?
Now is not the time to drop that series.
Pretty sure but could be wrong that initially was 2 home 2 away, however after 2 seasons it was extended for 2 more years and that there is still a home and away left. This year was at Tulsa and so If i'm correct it will be at Wichita next year.

Here next year and then one more @ Tulsa after that. The contract was originally set to end this year but it was extended until 2015-16. I'm sure he'd like to extend it even further if he can.
They will probably get a shot at potential at-large southern miss and maybe make c-USA a two bid league.
Southern Miss has 1 win vs top 50 and that was vs North Dakota State so 0 wins vs at large quality teams. They have a great RPI of like 30 somehow but their 2nd best win is vs La-Tech and their best win is vs ND State.
I can't see an at large bid based on the resume.

I'm not losing sleep over what anyone else says. No joy is being taken from me. I will forever remember last season. I will forever remember this season. Amazing times and amazing memories.
However, none of that means that I have to have absolutely zero interest in what the national media says or does. I want the icing on the cake of having them forever talk about this team as one of the all-time greats. If I get that, great. If I don't, oh well. It won't ruin my day.
This isn't a controversial position to take. Anyone who says he takes absolutely zero, nada, zilch joy out of positive comments from the media is a liar.
I'm going to be honest with you my friend.....mostly I've responded to your suddenly vociferous defense of bcs type programs with tongue partially inserted into cheek. Not this time. You sir are the one taking the plunge with cement overshoes. There's no strawman argument from me. You said, and I quote "This is a historic year for WSU, and part of how it will be remembered is a look at who the best teams were that WSU beat along the way. I want SLU to get a good seed and make the Sweet 16. I want a team like Tennessee or BYU to pull off some upsets. These little things could help push this season out of "a great season" category and into "one of the best season's ever" category."
Ok, if WSU went 34-0 and beat KU 31 times, I'll concede I might get slightly more enjoyment than I've had this season, but that's a totally idiotic stance to take. The guys played a top 50 non con schedule. During my life it's probable they'll always be in the Valley. What the hell do you expect? Hey, I just nailed Ashley Judd last night...nailed it shut. Afterwards she sent her husband a Dear Dario letter. But damn, she doesn't look as good as she did, and I bet some people I don't really know or care about would be more impressed if I nailed Elisha Cuthbert, Kate Upton or Jessica Alba. What was that you were saying about a strawman?
Not part of my memory. I'm going to remember 34-0. Now if you were to say that how they do in post season will affect how this team is remembered, okay, I'll buy that to some extent. It's not going to matter much to ME, because it's been so damned special to me I can't even begin to explain it here, but to some WSU fans, maybe even most, it will have a impact, maybe even a big impact. BUT YOU DIDN'T SAY THAT, DID YOU??
You said how St. Louis and Tennessee did will affect how the season is viewed. NO, IT WON'T. Not at least to me, and I'd bet not to a huge majority of Shocker fans. Maybe it will to you, KC Shox, lawmaker and a few others (seeing a trend yet??) and if it does, I weep for you.
You may not be losing sleep, but you're lessening your own enjoyment of a special, special time over something that most of us don't give 2 shits over. Sorry man.
And for the record, this is without question ONE OF THE GREATEST SEASONS of all time and it doesn't matter one iota what our competition does or does not do from here on out. How you can call this season just a great season and not one of the greatest of all time defies logic. It absolutely is one of the greatest of all time, period.

This is the worst defensive team I've seen under Coach Self. It's got to be driving him insane. If is wasn't for Perry Ellis, who'd be All America at WSU (not kept under wraps so they can assure his return to school after their one and dones bolt), being a total MAN CHILD STUD, they'd be getting boat raced this afternoon. ISU may hang 100 or more on the Hawks.
