I know that many people have stopped following teams like St. Louis and Tennessee now that the Shox are a lock for a #1 seed, but I think there is still significant reason to care about them. This is a historic year for WSU, and part of how it will be remembered is a look at who the best teams were that WSU beat along the way. I want SLU to get a good seed and make the Sweet 16. I want a team like Tennessee or BYU to pull off some upsets. These little things could help push this season out of "a great season" category and into "one of the best season's ever" category.

I've never seen a team that wins so much be so hated for what they do. If we had a team of punks then maybe I could understand it, but considering how our players represent our school with class, I just don't get it.

That said, this is a team that feeds off of disrespect and somehow, despite being 34-0, there's plenty of it out there.

This will be a fun tournament.
