I mean the guy almost took it as a personal insult that his bob davis would even be mentioned in the same breath with MK. He calls in fairly regularly but this time he was such a pompous ass. I mean he wouldn't even to need to be called "KU Pat" because you would know who he pulls for just from his whiney little girl attitude.
Bob was a KState guy growing up. Why he's kept the KU job so long is a mystery. He's painfully awful. SWEEEESH! He swEESHed it! He did it, he did it!!! He's insufferable, you have NO idea what's happening, he's often times an entire possession behind and he makes Mike Kennedy look neutral. If you aren't the most die hard ku t-shirt fan you cannot listen to him for more than a couple of minutes, tops.

SoW said the reason he stayed was for the first season in the big east. If he's gone I doubt Gibbs stays for a sixth season, knowing they won't be better.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

Doug would have gone to the NBA. I think he has stated that he returned to play in the B EAST. Grandpa Gibbs would not petitioned for his 237th year without Doug.

I wouldn't take anything that Joey Brackets says too seriously until Sunday morning, when his bracket changes drastically into something more realistic. It happens every single year. Sometimes it's hilarious just how much it changes from the night before.

Probably they brought in that dude that had the monkeys riding on dogs. Telling people to "follow your dreams". That act could clear a stadium in no time flat. Hell they should use that at the end of games if they anticipate the college kids rushing the court. They'll run like hell OUT of the stadium instead.

Sir, if monkey's riding on the back of dogs was the dream you followed . . . well . . . I recommend you ride out your LSD trip before buying into your "dreams".

It could have been worse. His dream could have been monkey/dog porn.

I was so relieved when the Royals replaced him. "Alex drives it to deeeeeep right field . . . and the 2nd baseman drifts out to haul it in"

                              • Watching the venerable ACC tournament in the Greensboro coliseum. It looks practically empty, even though it's a close game. I actually saw a much greater number of people in the stands for a 16-and-under AAU tournament at that very same place - and that was in the middle of July! And the AAU kids had to hold car washes and bake sales just to get there. That's pretty pathetic, ACC.
