How many wins/losses does KSU have on the road/neutral sites? I think only 1 on the road at TT. Dong know his many neutral wins. One at IBA maybe? They seem to bd good at home but nowhere else.

Many thought SMU was a lock coming into today but a few thought they were still on the bubble. They have only 4 top 100 wins but all 4 wins were in the top 30.
They lost to a bubble team in Arkansas could come into play should they be 2 of the last teams on the bubble.
They have 2 losses to teams below RPI 200
They finished on a 3 game losing streak.
They would have been much better off being the 4 seed and having to play at Memphis the 5 seed because then a loss would have been expected.

Smells like an 11 seed to me

When Wichita State ends up 40-0 and wins the National Championship is when you won't hear that statement any more. Sorry to say but that is how it is for this year. You went 34-0 and that is a great accomplishment but you have not exactly played murder's row schedule. I am rooting for you as long as you don't play Kentucky or Ohio State but I for one will be very interested to see how you fair this year in the NCAA tournament.

No, Louisville is a 4 seed (give or take) BECAUSE their OOC sucked. The 4 seed IS a drop. Heck, they are #2 in Pomeroy and have a better W/L record than Virginia, Kansas, Duke, just to name a few. A 4 seed would be a slap in their face to wake up and schedule in the OOC.

I love how SMU fans have called that their team could be the team that stops the Shockers if they match up in the NCAA tourney.

In reality, it should be SMU playing in the NIT. You can bet that the NCAA tourney committee will want to have Larry Brown as a feel good story, so an undeserving SMU team will probably get a spot in the tourney. BS!

Seton Hall beat out the 4 MVC Thursday night teams in all 4 categories. DePaul beat them out in 3 of the 4.

With K-State's loss, we probably can rule them out of our 8-9 opponent possibility. They just backed themselves up to the bubble. May still be in, but they have reason to be a bit nervous.

I think I would be nervous too if I were them. They have a losing record against the RPI TOP 100 (9-10), their RPI is 50 (which is very bubbly), their NON-CON SOS is just 134 and they are only 2-7 on the road. The factors that will probably keep them on the good side of the bubble is they some have good wins (all be it at home) and the bubble is very soft this year. They have to pick 68 teams.

Notice I used more than RPI. Are their wins inflated too? They seem to lead in that category as well despite a tougher SOS.

And not that it matters, but Nova's loss dropped them below us in the RPI. We're now 4th.

So if we are 4th in the RPI and the RPI factors in strength of schedule there doesn't seem to be much basis for guys like the Goober boys (Gottlieb and *******) to argue that we don't DESERVE a #1 seed other than they just feel like throwing a BCS tantrum.
