Well I was three of four on calling upsets today. Of course the only one that couldn't pull it off was FSU ... looks like they'll be a strong NIT seed this year instead of the NCAA. The NCAA bubble this year has been ridiculously strong over the last two weeks.

Nebraska is looking like a better and better matchup for us in our tournament next year as the season goes on. Bad news for Creighton fans, considering the struggle they're likely to have adapting to the Big East without Doug McDermott. You don't want your in-state rival finally becoming relevant again while you're struggling.

KU & to some extent KSU are coping in a similar circumstance right now.

William & Mary takes a one point lead over Delaware with 4:16 left in the championship game. Tim Rusthoven, aka the guy with the long hair, has 16.

What was the W&M coach even doing in that timeout? They did nothing to create any offense with a set and settle for a long forced jumper that is missed and lose the game. With 10 seconds, there is no excuse for not getting a better look than that.

I was pulling for W&M but at this point it doesn't matter how many of our former opponents get in. We have the 1 seed locked. We have made history and have a chance to write the storybook ending. It is now time to stop worrying about SLU and everyone else.

Their last two offensive sets were offensive. Almost as offensive as their 3-11 from the line stat. I'd say they needed to attack and try to get a foul call on both of those sets but 3-11 ... maybe a forced jumper was better.

Also did you notice the W&M players had their face in their hands and looked like they had already been beaten in both of the last two timeouts?

Yeah, it doesn't affect seeding but it's still cool to see former opponents make it in.

Another neat thing is that these low major games that we're watching could very easily be one of the teams we play in the first round. When have we ever been able to say that?
