Looks like I was wrong when I predicted St Louis would lose 3 of 4 to end the season...more like 4 of 4. St Louis and Cuse are examples of why you dont want teams to lose (Mitch) with long winning streaks b 4 the tourny. Hasnt done them any good, WSU loses and they could ezly go into a funk just like that. The desire to keep the streak alive is part of what makes this team great.

Tulsa plays for a share of 1st place tonight.
All of the top 4 in C-USA have road games tonight. It seems likely that one or two may fall, so hopefully it won't be Tulsa.
It would really be fun to see them "emerge" under Manning and for us to keep the series going.Comment

WSU played 12 non-conference opponents.
6 of those opponents are going to win their league, or finish 2nd (hopefully 4 wins, 2 2nds).
6 of those opponents are not. Three were gifts from the CBE (Tennessee State, DePaul, W&M). We scheduled ORU, Tennessee, and Alabama.Comment

Well, and its still worth a little bit that Tennessee is competitive in the SEC and may even take 3rd if the chips fall right. At worst, they are in the top half. DePaul and Bama are really the ones that didn't do much. The rest of the teams on our schedule are finishing very nicely. Well, and Tennessee State...
