Their lead over us in KenPom's defensive efficiency (and we're #8 in the country) is the same size as the gap between us and the #56 team. It's hard to gauge them post-Ashley-injury, but #1 in KenPom, LRMC, Massey, and Sagarin Predictor ... I'll be surprised if they aren't in the Final Four.Originally posted by BleacherReportFred VanVleet on Shockers' 3-Pt Shooting Confidence -- ' Honestly, I just tell these guys to let their nuts hang.'

RPI 26-50: Wins, #28 AZ St, #30 Colorado, @ #30 Colorado, #33 Oregon, #42 Stanford, @ #42 Stanford. Losses, @ #28 AZ St. 5-1
RPI 51-100:#53 California, #78 New Mexico St, #80 Washington, #82 Utah, @ #82 Utah, #99 UNLV. Losses, @ #53 California. 6-1
15-2 against the top 100 RPI is pretty salty, particularly given the road wins.

Arizona will also play out of the West, which usually produces the easiest road for its #1 seed (obviously that road is different when you have to go through the #1 seed, the #2 seed, and the most underseeded #8 seed by KenPom). This year though, the Syracuse is going to get most of the home court love, playing out of Buffalo and then MSG. Those are two teams that are decent Final Four picks despite their problems, simply because they probably will get some innate advantages from geography. Whereas we'll probably be playing a team like Kentucky or Cincinnati in Indianpolis in what might as well be a road game.
