Go ahead and tell us when and where this occurred. Name of the restaurant. If what you think happened did actually happen, then it needs to be stopped. Telling a story is pretty weak. Do something about it. Did they say "we don't serve black people here." did they invite white people in and say, "all n words must go through the drive thru."? Why on earth did your friends go through the drive thru if they were treated that way? Why not move on?

Agree. Yes, there is still racism in American and throughout the world. Racism will not end in my lifetime.

That doesn't mean skepticism about someone being turned down a meal because of race isn't warranted.

Saw the best man at my wedding refused service at a restaurant in Utah because he was there with his white girlfriend. He's hispanic, if "his family has lived in New Mexico since the 1700s" counts as "hispanic." It happens. He lives in Georgia now and speaks Modern Standard Arabic and Iraqi fluently for the military ... so not only does he get to enjoy anti-Mexican racism, but anti-Muslim. It's actually pretty funny, in an incredibly disturbing and pathetic kind of way. Especially because I know more Spanish than he does, and his family's history in America is far more impressive than 95% of the people he gets **** from. He keeps a good sense of humor about it. He also owns a lot of guns.

Anywho ... Marcus Smart deserves to be suspended. He also should have just punched the fan in the face. If what he said was bad enough for Smart to be willing to face the punishment, might as well go big ... you're getting punished either way.
