The lobby of the restaurant was likely closed, but the drive through still open. This is common to many fast food restaurants and likely why they made the players use the drive through.

Then, likely according to policy, the restaurant refused to serve the players walking through the drive-through lane because they were not in a vehicle. This is an extremely common policy among fast food chains. The players then mistakenly assumed this was because of racism for some weird reason.



Now that I've solved this epic mystery, let's get back to actually talking about Games of Interest.

They DO exist and they are ignorant and horrible people. Saying a friend in Texas went through the drive thru doesn't correlate to racism. Believing otherwise is rediculous.

Agree. Yes, there is still racism in American and throughout the world. Racism will not end in my lifetime.

That doesn't mean skepticism about someone being turned down a meal because of race isn't warranted.

I think you are either making this up or were misinformed. Business owners don't risk having everything taken away from them even if they are racist, not in this day and age. BTW, I've traveled to the south on sports teams with black athletes and never been refused or anything other being an ass. We were kicked out of a couple of places for being jerks.

Go ahead and tell us when and where this occurred. Name of the restaurant. If what you think happened did actually happen, then it needs to be stopped. Telling a story is pretty weak. Do something about it. Did they say "we don't serve black people here." did they invite white people in and say, "all n words must go through the drive thru."? Why on earth did your friends go through the drive thru if they were treated that way? Why not move on?

Racism does most certainly exist. Unfortunately, it has also been dishonestly used as a crutch and to otherwise stir up dissent in cases where it actually never happened, thereby causing the public to choose a side. One side blindly accepts a given story of racism at face value and with no questioning of the parties or circumstances involved. The other side has seen the invalid use of the race card used as leverage where there otherwise is none, and needs to see more proof that it exists in a given circumstance than the word of the person who stands to gain the most out of its use.

Certain types in this country just naturally default to the concept of racism as the root cause of their given predicament/circumstance/life, and completely lack the objectivity to recognize the concept that there are a gazillion other interpersonal dynamics present in this country that have absolute nothing to do with race/creed/sexual orientation.
