What I liked about the video at the KU game was that you clearly have guys that really like each other and have bonded as teammates. Of course, that is kind of a given considering the success on the court. Rarely do you have one without the other at the college level.

To summarize the answer: First, there was the did she really just ask that question pause. Then one of the players started to talk about how they are a young but improving team, when another player interrupted and talked about how they just think of it as they are both representing the state of Kansas. Then the person asking the question said something along the line of that was a very political answer.

I would imagine Papa McD will be shopping his resume like crazy this off-season. Some place like DePaul might just be dumb enough to pony up a couple mill and a five year contract to get him, and there's no doubt he sees the writing on the wall at CU. Get while the gettin is good and all that.

Sometimes it's just not your night. Things started going wrong right out of the box and just got progressively worse. And sometimes nothing you do turns it around. I don't think Nova is a bad team at all -- just ran into a bulldozer last night. We've run into that same bulldozer before. I'm just not sure any team could have handled the Bluejays last night. When you're on, you're on -- and Wragge and company was certainly ON last night.

It's funny that Creighton - the self-defined, newly-minted "major" program - beat a legitimate team with the same style of play that true major programs hate to go up against. If there's one thing you hear from the actual bluebloods come tourney time it's the severe dislike for going up against teams that only get hot and hit a bunch of threes.

So congrats Blowjays on doing nothing but proving your program and style of play still fits in better in the MVC with the likes of UNI and Drake, than it does the Big East.

Don't be ridiculous. The only thing this game underscores is the fact that on any given night you can lose to a team that gets hot shooting the ball. How can you spin this beat down to be a negative for the BJs? Crazy. Now the loss to Providence...yeah, that was bad.

Creighton won by 28. Instead of going 21 for 35 from 3, they could have shot average and still won comfortably. The 3's made for a remarkable night, but they played well enough to win the game even if they hadn't shot so well.
