MSU got 4 free throws to start the second half off technical fouls, on an ISU player and on Mueller. Think that kinda stings now?
No discipline will cost the Redturds many more games in the future. Make no mistake about it, it costed them tonight.
LOL at the Redturd collapse.
It was only 2 FTs as the T on Muller was ruled a "class B" with no FTs awarded. Marshall made 1 of the 2, which you could argue is what got the game to OT.

WTF is a Class B technical?
If Marshall doesn't get that 1 free throw, the Redturds win.
Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

c. ( Men) CLASS A and CLASS B technical fouls .A CLASS A technicalfoul involves unsportsmanlike conduct or behavior by a player, substitute, coach or bench personnel. A CLASS B technical foul is an infraction ofthe rules that neither involves contact with an opponent nor causes contactwith an opponent and falls below the limit of an unsportsmanlike act.Examples of CLASS A and CLASS B technical fouls shall include:1. Unsportsmanlike conduct; using profanity, vulgarity, taunting, baiting(CLASS A);2. Hanging on the ring, except when doing so to prevent an injury(CLASS B)
Thanks wsushox. And where does it say Class B technicals don't get free throws? I'm pretty sure I've seen players hang on rims, get whistled for T's and then have the opponents shoot free throws.
Very confusing and weird.

I have no idea, I just copied and pasted the ruling.
I guess if the rim hanging is considered unsportsmanlike it is a Class A with FT awarded...and if it is a Rim Hanging to avoid injury it's a type B?
Haven't found anything that says what the penalty to the different classes of Technicals are yet.

I'm guessing based upon the description of events on the ISUr board that this was a 'bench technical' as below:
c. Assistant coaches and bench personnel. All bench
personnel, with the exception of the head coach, are required
to be seated on the bench while the ball is live except to
react spontaneously to an outstanding play and then to
immediately return to sitting on the bench. Violations by
players, and especially assistant coaches, should not be
tolerated by officials. When assistant coaches or bench
personnel are violating bench decorum rules in a minor
way, the official shall inform the head coach and request
that he/she handle the situation. This is an official warning.
Any further violation by bench personnel shall result in a
technical foul assessed to the offender. Egregious (blatant)
conduct violations by assistant coaches or bench personnel
need no warning and shall immediately result in a technical
foul. A technical foul assessed to bench personnel is also
assessed (women) indirectly and (men) as a CLASS B
technical foul to the head coach.
