I'll give that 2 bit school this, their kids usually give max effort. This is ugly....it might get embarrassing.
Perhaps we should start a new thread for Games of Disinterest.

      • In the Drake v. Evansville game, the Bulldogs shot phenomenal percentages. FG: 61% 3PT:56% 2PT:63%

        • Stole this nugget from ValleyChimp at the UNI board:

We have been MVC Championship level good at home.

LOL. And who exactly have you beaten in your MVC Championship level tear at home outside of VCU? He may need a reminder that MVC Championship level teams are decided by what they do on the road, not what they do at home.

Keep drinking the koolaid, Chimp. Maybe, UNI can get back into the at-large discussion before it's all said and done.
          Deuces Valley.
          ... No really, deuces.

          • Or what they do against awful, terrible and lost teams.

Upper Iowa, although perhaps as bad as Bradley, isn't in the Valley. UNI is average. Yet again. Big whoop. That guy was an idiot when UNI had their 15 minutes. His has apparently lasted much longer.

            • There's gonna be a lot of sore bottoms around the MVC this year after we get through with them.

              • A little off topic, but does Baylor know how to defend the pass without grabbing?
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

It will never cease to amaze me that in every bowl season, at least 1 or 2 teams will appear to be the exact opposite of the team they portrayed during the rest of the year.

I think sometimes we overlook how long a layoff CFB takes from the end of the season to the bowl games. I think more than the players, the bowl season shows off more about the coaching staffs for programs that are better game planners, and can get the kids to buy in and ready.

Give CFU some credit, thier coaching staff did a great job abusing Baylors weaknesses.

The roadie in Des Moines worries me more than any of the others, with the possible exception of Terre Haute.

                      • Either Ford has no offensive scheme or the players have abandoned him. I've seen better offensive sets and plays in pickup games on campus. Phys Ed classes play much better offense than BU played last night.

Like how does Nebraska get their act together on both sides of the ball and beat Georgia?

K-State-Michigan didn't surprise me as much, but I guess it depends on how well coaches are able to maintain enthusiasm and desire the 3-4 weeks off.

UNI is good at home. Not so much on the road. Look for the Panthers to be 7-2 or better at their place. No idea what they'll do on the road.
