The rooting interest for the Shockers this season has been turned upside down. We want every team who is likely to be close to us in the standings to win every night except when they play us, because we seriously need top 100 rpi wins. Among the group of Drake, MSU, ISUb and Northern Iowa it would even be helpful if one or two teams separated from the pack and gave us a run at the top of the conference. It feels bizarre to be rooting for the favorites night in and night out.

WKU beats South Alabama 58-56 on the road. The Toppers hit the winner on a floater in the lane with 4 seconds left. WKU was a 2 point underdog in this one.

Sure it matters. WSU needs every single thing they can get to get the best possible seed and 10-0 vs the top 100 is better than 7-0.

That could be the difference b/t a 1 and 2 seed or a 2 and 3 seed.
