They are probably the worst coached team I have seen in quite a while.

They certainly have the talent to compete with UNI but there is no effort. They tried playing a zone earlier in the game. Emphasis on tried...it was pathetic, disgusting, and repulsive. No defensive rotation. Short Bruce Heartl could have scored in the paint against that zone.

I understand that the players might not be playing very hard but it is the coaches job to get them to do that.

I didn't think Mitchell was in in the last 6 or 7 minutes. Must have been mistaken.

Drake failed to score on about 1 possession in the last 10+ minutes of the game, and that required 2 missed free throws by Aaron Hawley.

Drake is nowhere near a Thursday team. Their biggest question is whether or not they'll be able to keep Giacolletti after the season is over.
