You know, I really don't care, but I don't get McDermott, UNLESS he has something on the back burner that he can bolt to after the season is over.
They are going to to be TERRIBLE next season. They're up 44-12 at home and he BARELY plays 8 guys. His boy plays 37 minutes...Gibbs 33...that's almost considered euthanasia for Grant. Wragge too...he's going to die playing 30 minutes a game..but at least I'd understand if they HAD to...they certainly didn't today.
In a game that was inside 20 POINTS only for the first 8 minutes and the last 4, he only got 41 total minutes from his bench. It's mind boggling, but then Chewie's always been an overrated coach.Comment

One reason he may be playing that starting 5 so much is that his bench was a fouling machine this game. The starting 5 averaged 32 minutes each and committed a total of 10 fouls. Very solid analysis Doc. That's just downright embarrassing that they were up by 30 points and Daddy McD still had starters playing that much extended minutes... and consequently ended up only winning by 15. They are absolutely gonna get murdered next year and join the DePaul Club.
