And further... WSU "proved" that gonzaga was over rated because they lost to us. It's not possible that WSU beat a legitimate number 1 team.

    • Ok, this has little to do with basketball, but trying to inject a little levity as we endure the long wait until the next game. Tell me what you think. Does #3 look like Bill Self in drag? http://www.theonion.com/articles/10-...-on-t,34700/#1

Not "Mecca". Jackson county missouri (where KCMO is) was literally "Zion" for the Mormons. Until they were jailed in Liberty Mo and left for Utah.
I had season FOOTBALL tix... did you?

        • Independence, MO hosts the world headquarters of the Community of Christ, which from 1872 to 2001 was known as the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (RLDS). It has about 250,000 members, about half of which are in the United States., and 2 temples. In fact, I walked by their headquarters in downtown Independence while staying there during the CBE Classic.

This relatively small denomination does share a common heritage with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (commonly called the Mormon Church) which has around 15 million members and 140 temples and is headquartered in Salt Lake City.

          • NC Central is tied with Old Dominion with 14 seconds left looking to move to 6-1. They had a huge first half lead, but let it slip away.

            • UNI with a 7 point lead over Milwaukee at the half. This would be a solid road win if UNI can pull it off.

                • NC Central are going to pull it off. Up 9 with 5 seconds left. For all the disappointing performances by some of our opponents, they have been a pleasant surprise (but hopefully won't be good enough to be an unpleasant surprise).

I was about to be optimistic and reference the fact that we were down by a similar amount to St Louis before we came back to win it. Then I remembered that this is UNI not WSU.

                        • 0-8 Tennessee State going into OT against 1-4 Alabama A&M

Although I'm starting to feel like "Games of Interest" should now include Top 10 teams instead of our opponents.

                          • Milwaukee has lost to both DePaul and Loyola. They barely beat a horrible UMKC team. Not good for the Frostbitten Flops if they lose.

Yahoo has them losing by 1 in regulation.

I can't wait to see their guard flop after driving the lane and getting hand checked. That's gonna be AWESOME!
