They got the huge lead by attacking the basket, getting put backs, and off of kick outs from dribble penetration. Instead they switch to dribble weave for 30 seconds then a last chance pick and roll that OSU is blowing up right now.

Also worth noting/twittering- WSU is tied for the 5th most wins against Top 50 teams. Only Wisconsin (4-0), Iowa State (4-0), Colorado (4-2) and Kansas (4-4) have more.
