CHAMPIONS! AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE REGULAR SEASON CHAMPIONS! So much to discuss in a season full of incredible storylines, but Dustin and Taylor are here to break it all down. Of course we also have to dive into Head Coach Isaac Brown getting the full time gig, and we take a deep dive on the NCAA tournament chances the Shockers have as they get ready for the conference tournament.
The early exit from the AAC tournament created a lot of sweat and nerves for 24-hours, but the Shockers are in the Big Dance! Matching up with Drake in the First Four on Thursday at 5:27pm CST. Dustin and Taylor break down the action at the conference tournament but the focus here is squarely on the opportunity Wichita State has to make a memorable NCAA tournament run.
The season ended in heart-breaking fashion for WSU as they fall by a single point to Drake during the First Four of the NCAA tournament. Dustin and Taylor recap that game and look back on a unique season that will be remembered for the many storylines it contained. Newly minted Head Coach Isaac Brown joins the crew to talk about his perspective on the season and how he is approaching the future of Wichita State basketball on the recruiting trail.
Great podcast and thanks for the entertainment throughout the season!
For those who don’t listen, IB was on the pod and we have confirmation that he does in fact know about the KState game.
Lol wanted to say the same thing.
It was a good interview with Brown. I enjoyed the podcast!
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!
I was interrupted a few times while trying to listen to the podcast. Did Taylor say Chaunce (CHAWN-see) Jenkins reminds him of Ja Morant? I believe Bob Hull said something similar during a pregame call-in show. I know there's a lot of people very high on him... and he's still a freshman.
