Let's say he plays every game this season with numbers the same as what he has had these last 4 games (+20 points, good FT shooting, etc etc etc) he still won't get loto status unless he also nets a player of the year title and a national title for WSU. He is too much of a dark horse.
Now same numbers this year AND next year and 3 good tourney runs? It will be hard to keep him for all 4 years.
Just was hoping you wouldn't give a "no defense in the NBA" BS.
I knew you were waiting for that line and was gonna respond with it, but thought better of it. No reason to get into an internet fight after a great win today. I'll save it for a day we lose. :livid:
Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

I like Baker... alot... But he is not an NBA talent at this point let alone a lottery pick. He is scoring less than 15 a game and his defense and size while passable in the college ranks would be exploited in the pro ranks.
You don't know what you are talking about. I watch the NBA, and Ron Baker does have NBA talent. Is he ready now? No, but if he continues the type of play lately and gets better, he most definitely could be drafted.
The ESPN draft experts have Ron Baker at #40...do you know more than they do? I think not.

No chance Baker goes to the NBA after this season.
He'll be a PG in the NBA. He's a guy that will benefit tremendously from playing the full four years here and developing his PG skills to an elite level.
If he stays healthy and keeps developing, he's a lottery pick in the 2016 draft. But no reason to worry about it this coming offseason.
Just stay healthy. I have nightmare flashbacks to Matt Braeuer every time I see him hitting the floor hard.
