Great first half. 3 guys in double digits, shooting 19-30 from the field, 11-13 from the line. Still need to get on the boards a little better (16-14 advantage), but otherwise great execution on both ends. Now we just need to finish the same way we started.Comment

I can understand the hand checking, arm bars, chucking screeners... I get that.

This time we don't need the heroic second half, but we also don't need a mediocre second half - like some of the first halves we've played.
I think Cotton has something like 13 points. His defensive assignment is the 6'8" guy from the big east who's averaging 19. It appears Cotton is winning that battle on both ends of the court.
Just checked the stats. Melvin is 1/5 for 2 points. Cotton is 5/8 with 13 points.The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
