I was thinking about something yesterday, and my thoughts were confirmed after looking it up. If you want to talk about 2010 being lightning in a bottle for the Little Engine That Could from Frostbite Falls....
Northern Iowa has not won a game in St. Louis since beating us in the 2010 final. They lost in the 4-5 game in '11 and '12 and lost as a 3 seed against ISU-Red last year. Yes, they'll always be very sound fundamentally and well coached...and if you catch them on a night that the opponent become disinterested with guarding the perimeter, they can win games against better teams. Unfortunately, they are unlikely to be a huge force.
THAT SAID, I did forgive them for beating us in the Arch Madness final when they got their last win of that season. That was enjoyable.78-65

This might be a silly question, but I'll ask anyways: Could the loss of Dalonte Hill be hurting Maryland a lot? I had the impression that he was primarily a recruiter and his loss wouldn't hurt them as much with regard to in-game coaching, but I could be wrong.

I am not sure that MT has the personality to coach (kick their butts) it out of them... that and I think they have had some injuries to key players..Kansas is Flat. The Earth is Not!!

Uhh, anybody else catching this? Cleveland State leading #3 Kentucky 54-44 AT Kentucky with under 8 to go. What are the odds lots of foul calls are gonna start piling up for Cleveland State?
Kentucky, proving again, they are an overrated joke.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

Officiating is so screwy. Nobody is gonna talk about the refs getting UK back in it. They just assume Kentucky "came back". The refs could call 12 fouls in a row on Cleveland State and most of the media wouldn't give a damn, because God forbid, we have to make sure Kentucky wins because they are definitely better than Cleveland State. And that's just that.Deuces Valley.
