Barruh can still coach. He doesn't have much, but he makes a lot of it. Mizzou looks like a team that thinks they should win by 40 and can't believe SIU isn't obliging.

This game is on FOX Sports right now, channel 34 (2034 in HD) on COX cable. What surprises me is how many empty seats there are at the game. Apparently SIU is not much of a draw in Columbia, MO.

I don't think MU basketball is that big of a draw in Columbia.

I am quoting from the NCAA attendance numbers for 2012-2013:
                    Wichita State averaged 10,391
                    Missouri averaged 11,830

Your attendance will go up I am sure after the bandwagon fans have hopped about the Final Four Run express but let's not go crazy here with proclamations. Nice crowd for the midnight game though. I was impressed with both the WSU crowd and the crowd at FGCU in the morning game.

Watch a game. Especially one not against KU or Florida. The arena is empty. We're talking butts in seats, not seats sold in a package with football tickets.

WSU's attendance will go up. About 115. Then it's sold out.

Not too many extra seats on the bandwagon as capacity is 10,506.

"Nice crowd".....lol. Missurah State has never had a crowd like that, ever. Not even for your Super Bowl, oh yeah, against WSU.

Texas rallies from a 14-point halftime deficit to defeat South Alabama 84-77 and to go to 2-0 on the year.

You're really going to go with this? MU is the walking dog in Missouri with no other university in the state even remotely competing with it. A student population of over 34,000, in a state more than double the population of Kansas, located within reasonable driving distance from KC and St. Louis metro areas and having an arena that seats over 15,000. And you're going with a larger average attendance of 1,439? 80% capacity vs 99%. Even you usually do better than this.

I wonder when the last time was that WSU had only 6,794 in attendance? Bandwagon....BAHAHAHAHA.

Yeah, WSU is loaded up with bandwagon game attendance. That's why in the 1990's dark ages of our program we still averaged about a 3/4 full arena.

Would not be surprised at all if within the context of say the prior 25 years that WSU's average attendance in its worst season is better than MSU's in its best season.

And seriously on the Mizzou attendance smack? They are a running joke on any number of forums for their lack of butts-in-seats outside of a couple of games a year. There are recent, modern pictures of their arena with seriously less than 1,000 fans in attendance during what is visually obvious to be a MU men's basketball game. MU men's basketball is a joke and a paper tiger. For all their posturing and implied place in the college basketball world, MU has never even had a F4 - something WSU has now done twice.
