Now we're going -- most of the way through the first page, and nothing about Wamukota yet (although we do have one welcome message TO him)!

That's how we do it around here, Bluz, and that's how we pile up 166 pages under one heading (as you'll see if you actually try to plow through the EO treasure trove). Wonder if anyone has ever tried to count up how many of those 4000+ posts were actually about Orukpe.

Got a couple of rebounds but also a couple of quick fouls that got him a seat on the bench with 3. To me he looks close to EO in defensive skills and probably a little better than EO on offense. He will definitely be #3 on the depth chart behind Darius and Shaq but I expect him to be a contributor next year.

Soft hands . . . is concrete considered soft?

Small sample size, but he's lost the ball two of the four times I've seen him touch it.

And right after I post that he gets a dunk, then catches an entry pass and gets a jump hook off, but missed.

And then gets a put-back, completing an and-1 with a perfect free throw.

All I have to do is criticize and he comes alive!

His free throw technique is light years beyond EO.

Lets see, so far in the front court next year we have Bush, Darius and Shaq and one freshman. Bush is the only true center. If that it it for the front court he will get lots of minutes.

                        From yesterday's game.

CEDAR VALLEY 84, KILGORE 70: KILGORE — Ben Petty torched the nets for 29 points, and Devonse Reed (13), Lenelle Monroe (12) and Micah Cooper (12) joined him in double figures as Cedar Valley earned an 84-70 win over the host Kilgore College Rangers to open the Kilgore Classic on Friday.

Sixth-ranked Kilgore (1-1) was paced by Kalif Wright with 18 points. Stefan Moody added 15 points, and Bush Wamukota added 10 points and 14 rebounds. Jonathan Milligan also scored 10 for the Rangers.

Bush is for shore and for sure 7-foot tall. The feed from this game far exceeded my Shocker Vision feed this year or any year. However, Bush seemed to have a much more productive 2nd half and I only witnessed the 1st half.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

In the postgame they said he scored 7. They never gave any other stats.

I had him for five rebounds in the first half. Didn't keep good track in the second but he had a.few.
