    HOF post.

      DO NOT BE COMPLACENT SHOCKERNATION.
You must have really good seats because where I sit I can't tell if his eyes are even open.

At least our student population showed up! It was sold out the day before, and it was just an exhibition game. I even had to sit up really high. 6 rows worth of people were there when they opened the doors an hour and a half before the game!

That is impressive. Looking at some of the other valley boards they have had very poor showings from students and others for their games. Once again it shows what a unique place WSU is.

I will admit that my wife and I sat after about 5 minutes. We have been moving to a new home this weekend (beginning Thursday) and I can't tell you how many trips we had made into and and out of the houses and up and down stairs by Saturday evening. Neither of us are spring chickens, both with a little arthritis in one hip and quite frankly we were in pain.

Perhaps, we should compromise on this and go ahead and count free throws as the other team scoring. They seem to put points on the board when they make a free throw and the defense did commit the foul that leads to the free throw.

Besides is standing for defense forever against an overwhelmingly overmatched NAIA exhibition opponent really that big of a deal? Now do that against a quality D-1 opponent and I might be able to play through the pain.

It was an exhibition game, I think when it's on the line the fans will know what to do. In St. Louis against il state, the fans stood and clapped for 8 or 9 minutes and we LOVED IT! Of course, that's was after the Kung fu kick game and their team and fans wanted us, it was nice to throw it back in their face! Once the seasons in full swing, I'm sure the crowd will have no problem, but in the exhibition it's hard to get fired up because we are expecting to beat them.
I just want to stand on land...

LOL -- This season that's got an extra high probability of happening on every possession.

Just as well ‘mic’ the refs like they do in NCAA football...

And another thing. I heard they were thinking about "dropping" a banner at one of the games, whatever that means. If they think they can just hang some banner wherever they want, even though it will clearly have an impact on the soundwaves and lighting and heating/cooling airflow around me, they'd better watch it. Hopefully they've considered these issues. If not, I think the athletic department will find I'm not one to be trifled with at 3AM on a Monday.
