  • Interesting take on 810 this morning when Soren was talking with Kerkhoff about Early. They were discussing if we had any pros on the team. Kerkhoff mentioned Baker and Fred, but didn't think Early was a pro. Soren said he thought Cle was just a tough matchup for programs at the Valley level.

Evidently 24 & 10 against the national champions isn't enough to make anyone think he's better than 'this level.'

    • They're smokin' dope. Early is a freak athlete, just the type of player the NBA likes.

Yeah Murray was, too... Insane to me how ignorant some people are. Comes off as more than arrogant. I know Petro has been pretty good to us in the past. But come on.

        • Hey, remember the argument a while back about FVV NEVER being an NBA player? I thought that if Gal Makel can make it, then FVV can.

          • If we run the table, Cle is absolutely going to get an AA nod. Whether 1st, 2nd, or 3rd team I do not know. But he will be on one of them.

Man, that would be so cool.

What is even cooler? The fact that we have a few other guys on the roster with an excellent shot at AA honors the next few years. In fact, I think FVV is a near lock for at least an Honorable Mention AA this year (with an outside shot at 2nd or 3rd team this season).

We're gonna be sending a lot of jerseys to the rafters in the near future.

I'll bring it up with Kerkhoff's daughter the next time I see her.

Agree about Early. It's going to be tough to keep him off the AA list. FVV and Baker will have a lot of hype going into next year.

                      .
I agree. When that happens, do we retire #11. I say definitely.

If he's an AA we retire #11. He's already played on a final four team and is currently leading the 25-0 #2 team in the nation in points and rebounds.

                        • Still #6 in this week's Wooden Watch.

The Shocks will get so much attention these next few weeks. A nice run by Cle to close out the regular season would really boost his AA candidacy.

A nice run by Cle to close out the regular and post-season would help the Shocks. It would obviously also help Cle in the individual award category but that is icing on the cake and of secondary importance but it would be win-win I would like to see.

                            Go Shocks! Go Cle!
