I expect an at-large birth 9 seed or better. Winning the valley tourney is a milestone not yet achieved by HCGM, so I'd like to see that as another personal accomplishment for coach.

I hope the Shockers don't have any births and stay focused on basketball

A sweet 16 berth would be nice.

Louisville fan back to check in. Think you guys are not getting enough respect for the coming year. You know more about what happens (how you might lose a couple games that you shouldn't in your conference), but I honestly believe that you will get to the Elite Eight minimum and possibly back to FF. You have three big things going for you (and I have not followed your recruiting) Cleanthony, Gregg Marshal and playing angry. Those three things have not changed from last year and they are forces that will take you along way. Good luck to you. Stir some crap up out there!

i agree. 'shockers are being underrated. let me tell you- a front line of coleby, carter and early is going to do some real damage. we don't need to talk about the backcourt.

Sorry I haven't kept track close enough, but do you see VanVleet and Baker then getting the most time in the backcourt. Weren't both Cotton and Wiggins coming on strong last year?

My expectation was to finish out the signatures on my Final Four ball at Shocker Madness. Looks like there won't be an opportunity for that at this year's SM. :(

I see no scenario where Wiggins TAKES minutes from the others mentioned. Cotton is a stud, plain and simple. Evan Wessel would start for every Valley team not named Wichita State.

Senior night 2016 is going to be an extremely special occasion. I can hardly fathom losing Wessel (home town) VanVleet (stud) and Baker (Kansas kid 3 time POY, All America, FF MVP) on the same night.

van vleet, baker and cotton. look for a huge improvement from van vleet- he took EVERYBODY to school in aau ball- and he's about to do something like that again, this time in big time d-1. cotton is a certified warrior. baker looks solid even when just passing the ball.

i look for an much improved wiggins- zone buster, more often than not.

Nick Wiggins is going to find some minutes. He has weathered the storm for the last year and he has something to prove to his coach and his brother. He will have his moment and I think it will be special.

Oh sheesh, another one. Your team can't even win the Missouri Valley best of 10 tournament, talkin' 'bout being the single best out of 300+ teams. Delusional.

Oh and I know my team sucks too, but I think we can also win the national championship.
