Wichita State Set for Shocker Madness

From almost any camera angle it would have appeared to be full. I have no idea why there wasn't more coverage both by the local media guru's or our own WSU media types.

Channel 12 streamed it live. I don't know if they saved any video of it or not. You would think they would have.

I honestly think they don't do the video because there are so many empty seats. If you can't fill the arena for the event, then there must not be much demand for the product. When 10000 start showing up for Shocker Madness you'll start seeing videos.

I was at Shocker Madness and it was pretty full. I would guess 7000 to 8000. It was pretty packed and would have looked full on TV from any camera angle (they blocked off some upper sections forcing people to pack in).

I also saw a short clip of the KU version and there were a lot of empty seats at the Jayhawk event. We may have had as many or more at our event then the Jayhawks had (It is hard to say from just one short clip but they did have a lot of empty seats at their event).

Not sure you can compare that. It was a public scrimmage on something like 2 days notice just because some top 5 recruits were coming in. The official "midnight in the phog" I'm sure was sold out.

As much as I hate to say it--that is quite impressive.

It is impressive but you can't compare the 2. There might, MIGHT, have been 100 students that aren't student athletes at WSU's event. There were upwards of 7000+ students at KU's event (perhaps many, many more).
