  • Reminder - Shockers to Host Public Clinic!

I'm surprised this hasn't been posted already. With so much going on in the local community this weekend, don’t let Saturday’s ‘public clinic’ slip by you. Here’s your chance to watch a practice session, tour locker room renovations, basketball offices and join coaches and players for pizza afterwards. Cost of the clinic is $25.

WICHITA, Kan.- The Wichita State men's basketball program will hold a public clinic on Sat., Oct. 12 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. inside Charles Koch Arena.

Ditto. Worth more than quadruple the price. Unfortunately, I cannot attend this year. Darn!

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

That would be a lot of fun for the family, but unfortunately, my 8th-grader isn't allowed to attend.

Highly recommend. Lots of insight into how practices are run. You might learn something. MUCH easier to recognize where folks sit on the depth chart than the scrimmage.

Sounds like a perfect time to drop the family off at the Zoo! (Not that there is anything wrong with family time, but this is a cool deal).

With Hurt going to K-State at least your kid can keep his name.

It says the exact opposite. Those are who CANNOT attend.

This was a great event yet again this year. We have been the last three years and it is always a treat. Good to see how some of the new guys are blending in and some veterans are stepping into leadership rolls. Should be a fun season.

Great question. Definitely implies something was missing from recap.

                          Did we see Holland dunk?

I came away most impressed with Carter, he is long and athletic and appeared to be able to run our stuff. Fred is the leader of this team now, and he has stepped up and acted like it. To me it did not seem like CJ and Nick have come along as far as I had hoped, although from other threads at least CJ is putting in the effort. No dunks from Rian but there were plenty to go around from the other guys. It was good to see Evan back he will be solid. Cle, Baker and Cotton were where you would expect them to be, both looked good although Cotten was hobbled a little. Shaq looked like a freshman, a very very big freshman. Not much to report about Green, nothing glaring good or bad. Colby will be very good, he looked better on D but he can finish and has hops.
