I can't hear the term "Bracket Busters" and not think about you Shockers. I think it'll always be that way for us GMU fans.

Sorry about the bumpy ride you've had this year. Coaching changes can be hard, but I fully expect to see WSU back on top soon. Best of luck with the remainder of the season.

Many of us still hope to see you on our schedule again. It might be wishful thinking, but we really enjoyed playing you and I still think it would benefit both schools.

ESPN may allow it. ONLY because Ch. 22 is the side station of KAKE 10, an ABC channel. But I seriously doubt it.
I thought that it was set up originally that if they weren't televising the games, then the schools had an option of putting it in their TV package. But I'm probably wrong. And seeing as how there is no way in heck that ESPN televises this game, it could happen.

I have no idea how it all works either. Maybe someone should give ol' ADJS a ring to find out for sure! :good:

The sentiments are the exact same back to you. GMU looks like they could be in position for another at-large. I hope you guys make the tournament and represent well.

As always, thanks for checking in from time to time. It's always nice hearing back from our friends from D.C. I too would like to see you guys on the schedule in the future.

BTW, does that CAAZone still exist?

i think it actually makes the amount of teams getting int he tournament that arent bcs less. in the long run.
            itd be better
if bcs schools and mid majors had to play them.
I'll take a shot at trying to decipher this word jumble:

I do not enjoy Bracketbusters even though it helps mid-majors.
BCS schools do not play in Bracketbuster games.
Bracketbusters lowers the amount of mid-major schools that get into the dance.
It'd be good if BCS schools and Mid-majors had to both play in Bracketbuster games.

Close? I guess Rip doesn't realize that the entire point of Bracketbuster weekend is to get more exposure for the little guys. Putting BCS schools, who already get plenty of exposure, into the mix would only further lessen the chance that smaller schools get at-large bids.

We've got a few bad losses (East Carolina?!) that will likely keep us a bubble team if we can't win our tourney, I think. But hey, the last time we slipped in off the bubble it worked out OK!

I think it was down for a bit earlier today. Maybe they had some tech issues.

If I remember right, wasn't our BB game against Austin Peay a non-televised game that got picked up by one of our local channels?

I'm going to try to talk my wife into driving up to Flagstaff for that game. She's a WSU grad and watched some games in the 70's. It's been a LONG time since I've gotten to see the Shocks play in person.

WSU's BracketBusters game at Northern Arizona will start at 1 p.m. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Net Arizona. WSU is working on getting it on Kansas Now 22 on Cox Cable.

FYI Shocker fans: 3pm opening game for baseball that same day, Friday the 22nd.

E: I emailed JS and asked him to go ahead and move baseball back an hour. I think I'd literally wet myself if he just replied back "Ok" and then did it.
